Drowning Pool formed in 1996 in Texas and gained fame for their hit songs "Bodies" and "Tear Away." Their debut album "Sinner" was released in 2001. The band has won awards, including the Metal Edge Readers' Choice Award for "New band of the Year" in 2001.
