Hector Berlioz, a legendary French composer, rocked the 19th century with his "Symphonie Fantastique" and "Grande Messe des Morts". Claimed his fame with an 1829 album, awed us with the last one in 1865. Berlioz was a Prix de Rome laureate and invented the modern orchestra. A genius, hands down!
