The Script have just announced two intimate album launch shows for December 2026, and if you've been waiting for a chance to see them in a small room rather than an arena, this is it.
The Irish trio are gearing up to release their eighth studio album, The User's Guide to Being Human, on 14th August 2026. After a huge UK and European arena run in the autumn (the Man In The Arena Tour, running from late October through November), they're closing out the year with a pair of far more personal shows to celebrate the record properly.
The Intimate December Shows
Here's what's confirmed:
- Sunday 7th December – Circuit, Kingston upon Thames
- Monday 8th December – Concorde 2, Brighton
These are small-capacity venues. Circuit in Kingston holds a few hundred people; Concorde 2 in Brighton is much the same. Compare that to the O2 Arena date on 21st November and you get a sense of just how different an evening this will be. Stripped back, close up, and with a new album to dig into.
When Do The Script Tickets Go On Sale?
Tomorrow, Friday 31st July at 10am BST.
All the ticket links, on-sale times, and presale information are collected in one place at Evnt Central. You can check both event pages here:

- The Script: Album Launch Show, Brighton Concorde 2 – 8 December

Why These Shows Matter
The User's Guide to Being Human is The Script's first album since Satellites in 2024, which itself was a record written in the shadow of the passing of founding member Mark Sheehan in 2023. The new album carries the weight of that journey forward, and intimate shows like these are where that kind of material tends to land hardest. No production budget required. Just the songs and a room full of people who know every word.
The band have form with this format too. Back in December 2024 they did a similar run of small shows around the Satellites release, playing Bristol and Sheffield. Those sold out fast. Very fast.
