'70s rocker Patti Smith, famed for "Because the Night", got her start in NYC's punk scene. Debuted 'Horses' in '75 and last album was 'Banga' in 2012. Inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 2007. Known for her poetry and bohemian lifestyle. Still rockin' and rollin' in her 70s.
