of Montreal is an indie pop band led by Kevin Barnes. They formed in 1996 and are known for hits like "Wraith Pinned to the Mist and Other Games" and "Gronlandic Edit". Their first album "Cherry Peel" was released in 1997. They have won a GLAAD Media Award.
